12/15/2020, 393*393 inch(performance stage), 4.17min, Kuka, performing For my "Robotic Art" final at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, I created a performance art piece that incorporated the robot arm Kuka. In my team there were Seongrok Jeong, Rigeon Jeong, and Junha Hwang, and As the team leader, I was in charge of deriving concepts, organizing performances, programming for Kuka's movements, editing music for performances, and playing the main character. It would be a waste to incorpoate Kuka as static installation art, so we made a lot of effort to show Kuka and the actor breathing together. The story follows an amputee that uses Kuka as a prosthetic, and they go to a movie theatre. Kuka suddenly malfunctions, and chaos insues. The performance ends with a twist, exploring the future of tech.
